Staddle Stones. A staddle stone is a non-porous block that a pergola or gazebo sits on. They're easy enough to fix. A staddle stone has a steel protrusion at the top and by drilling a hole in the bottom of the posts the gazebo sits on the stones. Staddle stones are an easy way to protect upright posts and offer a distinctive aesthetic.
